The Outer view of the Temple |
Time is squeezing & we are in short of holidays. Hence we didn’t get the second chance to visit the temple. My bad !

Inside the Temple |
While returning from the temple, we should step down a long staircase to reach the main road. We thought of having a snap on the steps & so we asked for an help with a guy passes by. That unknown guy also asked us help in return that he should also need a snap of ours from his Digi-cam. We are shocked & almost felt like killed from his behavior. For the first time, we felt weird and got known the difference with the behavior of ‘City-guys’.
Entrance |
It’s a Sunday. As usual, we got fully tired with cleaning and washing clothes. We have no mood for outing. But after many Sundays, it’s the day with our 2 close friends, Chaithu and Chandu. So we have to make it a big day. Suddenly, we got the idea and left for the Sathya Sai NigamaGamam, the place of the Hindu Almighty that I could say. I felt like it’s a combo offer, where we could worship almost all the Hindu Lords, at just one single place. The maintenance and location impressed me.
The Outer view |
It’s a very calm, peaceful and cool place. I enjoyed myself watching the beauty of the Sunset.
Shiridi SaiBaba @DilshuckNagar Temple |
We heard about the very famous Lord Shiridi Sai Baba temple. We caught the bus and reached the destination. But we don’t know where exactly the temple is. So we asked for an auto-fare for the temple. He bargained for Rs.60/- for 5 people just for a 5-minute walk distance. This is the first time we shook for the craziness of an auto-guy. However, we managed paying him Rs.25/- though it’s more than the affordable price for such a short distance.
The temple is calm and cool. Friends felt very happy but oops! I felt no difference with the same Baba idol, seen in my native. No one has answered me when I asked for the difference of opinions, as of what they felt special in this temple here.
Friends are happy and so I followed. :)
Balaji Temple @ Chilakur |
The temple is one of the oldest in AP, having been built during the time of Akkanna and Madanna, the uncles of Bhakta Ramdas. This Balaji temple is one among the well famous pilgrimage centers. A Swayambhu idol of Lord Balaji accompanied by Sridevi and Bhoodevi(a rare combination) was found, and this idol was installed with the due rites and a temple built for it. Sri Balaji venkateshwara, the Pratyaksha Daiva in kaliyuga, is thus available at Chilkur to shower blessings on His devotees who for any reason are unable to go to Tirupati. Many devout worshippers flock to the temple, to receive the blessings of the Lord and his consorts throughout the year particularly during the Poolangi, Annakota and Brahmothsavams. Here, it’s a convention to take 11 or 101 circumambulations in a return to fulfill one’s desires.
We all went to the temple & all of a sudden, we scattered because of the heavy rush of devotees inside the temple. Chaitu and myself were together for the whole 11 circumambulations and unfortunately nothing got stuck in my mind to desire, though I tried hard to my best.

Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple or Yadagirigutta is a popular Hindu Temple of Narasimha Swamy, an incarnation Lord Vishnu. We have no idea that it gets a heavy rush on Sundays and unluckily we are happened to plan on the same day. And we got stuck in a lengthy queue and have been waited for almost 4 and half hours just to get an eyeful, as the priests covered the Garbagudi totally.
